He’s obtained the light,
Criticises criticism
With utmost delight.

He’s a social scientist,
Theoeries he’s built,
Waste of time is ultimate
And his only guilt.

He assumes it’s possible
To approach the truth,
Only which of methods then
One will have to choose?

Uni-, multilateral?
Maybe, only bi?
While heterogenous
Time is passing by.

And, as homeogenous
My brain has become,
I can make predictions now
Of the outcome.

Marx’s social theories
Will fight to death with Kuhn,
Quine, Latour and Knorr Cetina
Will surely spell our doom.

So, I’m singing happily:
“No, no, I will survive”.
The poor social scientist
Will waste away his life.
